Clifford House is a modern student accommodation opened in 2019, located in a prime area of Exeter close to the city centre. It offers convenient access to both university life and daily amenities. The University of Exeter’s main campus and St Luke’s Campus are both around 15 minutes away on foot, while Exeter College can be reached in about 20 minutes, making it a practical choice for students who want to balance study and city living.
The property consists of one block and offers both Ensuite rooms and Studio rooms, meeting different preferences for social and independent living. Ensuite rooms are suitable for students who want a private bathroom while sharing kitchen and living areas with flatmates, while Studio rooms offer a more private living experience and support dual occupancy with an additional fee. The accommodation provides free WiFi, heating, and bathrooms with a dry-and-wet separation design. It accepts underage students, but does not allow non-students to stay long term for more than 39 weeks, and pets are not permitted.
Clifford House provides a wide range of facilities for study, fitness, entertainment and socialising. Residents can enjoy a gym, cinema room, spacious courtyard, games area, meeting room and two lounges with TVs. Front desk service is also available, and rent includes utilities and internet, helping students manage their budget more easily. For bookings, students without a UK guarantor cannot usually pay in instalments. There is no deposit, but a £250 booking payment is required and can be used towards the rent.
